Thermal Processing - Heat Treating

Our thermal processing operations include numerous gas-fired retort and tempering furnaces and electric vacuum furnaces. Several of these furnaces offer one-of-a-kind capabilities. For instance, we operate the largest commercial, top-loading vacuum furnace in the world; it’s 120" in diameter and 180" high. We also operate two unique hydrogen-fill/vacuum purge furnaces that offer distinct production advantages whenever hydrogen processing is required.

In addition to hydrogen and vacuum, our other furnace atmosphere capabilities include argon, nitrogen and air. All of our furnaces feature high-limit instrumentation, microprocessor controls and statistical process control data logging. Our heat treating services include stress relief, age hardening, bright annealing, solution treatment, tempering and normalizing
