In response to a strong demand for high-performance, high-value, hard surfacing, wear resistant coatings, we have brought coating experts from throughout the country together in our Aerobraze, Ohio processing facility to create a coating technology center second to none.

In concert with our vacuum furnace processing capabilities, we can evaluate your components, develop wear and corrosion resistant coating solutions, demonstrate the concepts with prototype parts and work with you all the way to full production.

Our hardsurfacing, wear resistant coatings solve lots of design and maintenance problems. These hardfacing coatings extend component service life, enhance product performance, cut repair/replacement costs and minimize downtime for high-wear and high-corrosion applications. Typical OEM components and repairs include valves, rotors, vanes, rolls, shafts, sleeves and screws.

Whether you need a production partner, or someone to help with a single part, consider our range of services. We apply hardsurfacing coatings using SprayWeld, HVOF, plasma, PTA, wire arc and powder or wire combustion, and we can also furnace fuse coatings. Our experience includes most nickel, cobalt, ferrous, carbide, ceramic, and boride materials. We’ll help you select the best process and material for your application.

Because many of our customers prefer us to take complete responsibility for their hardfacing coating services, we offer a start-to-finish array of pre- and post-coating services. These include surface prep, sealant application, inspection and — through affiliated resources — secondary operations such as grinding and machining. If your application requires precise control or the efficiency of automation, our in-house robotics team will get involved.
