Business Development Manager

Description Wall Colmonoy Aerobraze Division is a collection of manufacturing facilities engaged in commercial brazing and heat treating; welding; sheet metal fabrication; welding; machining; thermal spray; X-ray; and NDT for the aerospace, medical, energy, petrochemical and automotive industries. The facilities are located in Cincinnati, OH and Oklahoma City, OK.

 POSITION SUMMARY

 The Business Development Manager’s main responsibility will be to lead the process of identifying, pursuing and closing new business opportunities for Wall Colmonoy Aerobraze Division. Aerobraze Cincinnati manufactures aircraft engine and rocket engine components for General Electric, Pratt & Whitney, and Rolls Royce. Certifications include ISO 9001:2000, AS9100:2004 and Nadcap accreditations. Aerobraze Oklahoma City manufactures aircraft exhaust systems and heat transfer components.

  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 • Directly contribute to the overall Aerospace Group success by helping increase sales volume to present customers and to other identified top segment opportunities.

  • Work directly with the General Managers and Engineering Managers as well as cross-functionally, to asses both current and target new business requirements and potential, primarily in the aerospace industry.

  • Initiate and coordinate sales action plans to penetrate new markets and new business opportunities. Develop new client relationships to drive the revenues of the Aerospace Group, focusing on the Aerobraze business unit.

  • Establish the internal processes and sales support tools required to deliver against current business and target new business opportunities as well as WCC Corporate Management performance expectations.

  • Track progress in pursuit of all new business using established metrics. Monitor and report performance as related to the business plan.

 • Assist in the strategic planning process.

Requirements

EDUCATION

 • Bachelor of Science in Engineering – MBA would be a plus

 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

 • +10 years in the aerospace components manufacturing industry

• Ability to travel, as required

• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

•  Strong business development, marketing, sales and account management skills

• Demonstrated interpersonal/ leadership/ management skills – positive, proactive and professional

• Advance decision making and computer skills
